Cheap Car Insurance Partly Due to Where You Live...

Cheaper car insurance? All you have to do is move...

The area you live in affects your car insurance rates due to the fact that one area or town may have a higher incidence of claims than another area. One area may have higher lawsuit payouts or higher theft rates than another area. Even if you live in a affulent area your rates may be higher due to the higher value vehicles in your area cost more to fix than in an area with lower value vehicles.

Although you may have heard that if you drive a red car you will pay higher car insurance rates but this is not true. It is a myth. GEICO, USAA (For Military Only), and Allstate, to name a few, don't even ask what color car you drive when you apply for a quote. And your VIN number doesn't give this info either.

Cheap Car Insurance? No thanks to the uninsured drivers...

Car Insurance: Involved in an Accident with an Uninsured Driver?

Uninsured drivers are ten times more likely to drink and drive and three times more likely to be convicted of driving without due care and attention. They also cause one accident every six months. In fact one in twenty motorists regularly drive without insurance. It's therefore not perhaps surprising that, one in ten of all motorists have been involved in accidents with uninsured drivers. Lower the Risk, Lower Your Car Insurance Premiums

Lower car insurance premiums for lower risk situations...

Lower Rates Guaranteed!

If you lower your risk, you lower your car insurance. How do you lower your risk? Well there’s a number of ways that your own driving and car behaviour can affect your car insurance rates.
Have a look at the car you drive. Is it suitable for your current needs? If not then would it be worthwhile to consider a change?

Different cars attract different auto insurance rates. Sports cars, high powered cars and cars at greater risk of theft attract higher rates. How long have you had your car and would it be wise to think about another one that would be cheaper to insure and more useful to you?

Uninsured Drivers Cause High Insurance Premiums

Cheap Car Insurance? Not with uninsured motorists out there...

UNINSURED drivers aren’t just a danger to your life and vehicle – they can cause serious damage to your wallet, too.

That's according to recent findings from the Association of British Insurers, who claim that around a million drivers (in Britain!) don't have insurance. What's more, as well as costing us lives, damage to vehicles and untold distress, these uninsured drivers are also costing us somewhere in the region of $70 per year on top of our insurance premiums.

Secrets Your Car Insurance Agent Never Told You...

You can save thousands of dollars on your car insurance premiums...

I am a 20+ year veteran of the insurance profession. For all those years I watched helplessly as insurance buyers wasted their hard-earned money on their car insurance premiums.

It was so frustrating! I spent a lot of time educating car insurance buyers of all ages on tips for purchasing auto insurance, various car insurance discounts, and strategies for getting the cheapest car insurance quote possible.

It wasn’t easy. But I felt their pain. Fact is, my daddy was one of those guys who could pinch a penny and squeeze out enough copper to wire a good-sized house! So being a tightwad sort of comes naturally to me…

Teaching teens to save money on their car insurance was especially rewarding. Finding cheap car insurance is a must for teens these days… and for their shell-shocked car insurance premium-paying parents! (I am a big fan, by the way, of making those teenage drivers pay for at least half of their car insurance premiums…
